What you will be doing:

In this newly created opportunity, you will report to the Regional Head of People & Culture. This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities, handling daily payroll operations whilst ensuring accuracy, timeliness, & compliance. This role will work for our Singapore and Australia office with great growth opportunities as we have more expansion plans coming up!

Responsibilities:

  • Be in charge of the payroll and benefits policies and procedures for our company

  • Process and handle all payroll matters bi-weekly or monthly in a timely and accurate manner: i.e., Inputting, checking and reconciling the payroll information to achieve accurate, timely and compliant payments to employees, government agencies and third-party providers.

  • Reviewing, analyzing and preparing People statistics and reports such as payroll report, headcount, attrition and manpower budget/costs. 

  • Oversee and process employee benefits and entitlements and ensure the enrolment of all eligible employees. , and liaising with government agencies.

  • Analyze any changes to federal and state laws (currently Singapore and Australia) regarding benefits and payroll and suggest any improvements or recommendations in line with our philosophy

  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard payroll data and mitigate compliance risks. 

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolutions and resolving any discrepancies or issues.

  • Supporting other People projects 

You will be a good candidate if you: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • At least 5 years of experience in payroll function with in-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation, processing and regulations

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Able to create charts/ graphs for analysis by Management

  • Good integrity,  discretion, meticulousness and an eye for detail.

  • Agile and strategic team player who could work well independently in an autonomous, multicultural and evolving business environment

  • Not afraid of exploring new opportunities ways or technologies to improve processes

  • Have a keen interest in sustainability
