Market Operations Lead
We are looking for an experience Market Operations Lead to join our team at Flo. Reporting to the Head of Market Operations, you will take responsibility for optimising our transactions with the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) across both electricity and gas markets, managing meter data, ensuring accurate market and network settlements, and overseeing the deployment of smart meters.

As the Market Operations Lead, you will:
Oversee and optimize AEMO transactions for both electricity and gas, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maximizing operational efficiency.
Manage meter data collection, processing, and analysis to support accurate billing and market participation.
Lead market and network settlement processes to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
Direct the strategy and implementation of smart meter deployment across our service areas, enhancing our data capabilities and customer offerings.
Work closely with technology and product development teams to innovate and implement solutions that advance our clean energy mission.
Collaborate with regulatory and policy teams to contribute to discussions on market design and regulations affecting our operations
Extensive experience in market operations within the Australian energy sector, with a deep understanding of AEMO processes for both electricity and gas.
Proven track record in meter data management and the deployment of smart metering technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex data and financial settlements.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
A commitment to sustainability and the promotion of renewable energy solutions.
