What you will be doing:

As an IT Operations Support, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the IT Operations and providing technical support to our internal team members. You will assist in resolving hardware,
software, and network issues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Your expertise will be essential in supporting our company's IT operations and support management.

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.

  • Procure IT devices and equipment, ensuring compatibility, cost effectiveness, and adherence to company standards and policies.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and routers.

  • Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.

  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement IT solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, antivirus scans, and system backups.

  • Assist in the setup and configuration of new IT equipment and software applications.

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP to troubleshoot network connectivity issues.

  • Manage and support Mobile Device Management MDM solutions to ensure security and compliance of company-owned mobile devices.

  • Utilize basic knowledge of Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) applications such as Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar to provide support and troubleshoot user issues.

  • Familiarity with basic functionalities of FortiGate firewall and UniFi network equipment for network security and management purposes.

  • Configure and maintain Google Meet Hardware for Meeting rooms and audiovisual setups to facilitate smooth virtual meetings.

  • Navigate and perform basic tasks in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center for user management, license assignment, and configuration of Microsoft 365 services.

  • Understand and troubleshoot basic Single Sign-On SSO or Security Assertion Markup Language SAML connections for seamless authentication across multiple applications.

  • Utilize Jira Ticketing or similar ticketing systems for managing and tracking IT support requests and resolutions.

  • Document and maintain records of IT assets, inventory, and support tickets.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.

You will be a good candidate if you: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications.

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.

  • Experience with Mobile Device Management MDM solutions is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) applications is a plus.

  • Knowledge of FortiGate firewall and UniFi network equipment is a plus.

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Jira Ticketing or similar ticketing systems, and SaaS management
