An opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join a growing business located in the heart of the Melbourne’s CBD. Be the first point of contact and a trusted partner providing financial analysis, advise and strategic support for the AU Senior Leadership Team.
In this high visible role as Finance Business Partner, you will report directly to the Head of Finance, have exposure to the Managing Director and his leadership team. The duties of this role will include but not limited to:
Month End accounting including journals:
Gross margin (revenue, cost of sales)
Hedge accounting and Trade finance instrument costs
Preparation, analysis, review and commentaries of the monthly, quarterly & Year end business performance across P&L, balance sheet.
Business partnering with AU Senior Leadership
Support the preparation of strategic 3-year plan, financial budgets and forecasts
Support the co-ordination of Year End audit and preparation of financial statement.
Supporting systems and process improvement initiatives
Ad hoc projects and analysis as required by senior leadership
You will be a good candidate if you:
Have relevant tertiary qualification and post graduate tertiary degree in accounting
Preferred membership of professional accounting bodies
3-5 years experience in a similar role
Have an understanding of and experience with hedging and hedge accounting
Are organised, systematic, task oriented and pragmatic
Are comfortable with managing large sets of data
Are tech-savvy, proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and performing high level analysis and integration of financial data.
